Home-Made Salsa

Makes 2 cups.  Serves 8

250 grams of tomatoes (any kind will do, but I like to get the ones on the vine and wait until they ripen at home)

1/2 onion

2 cloves garlic

1 red bell pepper

1 jalapeno

1/2 cup green chile

1/4 cup cilantro leaves

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp onion salt

1/4 tsp garlic powder

juice from 1 lime

Put all ingredients in a food processor or blender until coarsely chopped.  Serve with tortilla chips or fresh veggies.  Or use it on top of a baked potato for a snack full of potassium.  ENJOY!
